Three lecturers from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, successfully received funding from the RKI Equity DAPT LPDP Program for 2025–2026. This achievement highlights the strengthening of research quality, national collaboration, and the faculty’s contribution to pharmaceutical and health sciences development.

USU PHARMACY PR — The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), proudly announced the achievement of three of its outstanding lecturers who have secured funding from the Indonesian Collaborative Research Program (Riset Kolaborasi Indonesia/RKI) Equity DAPT LPDP for the 2025–2026 period. This strategic program is designed to strengthen national research collaboration. The achievement was attained by Dwi Lestari P., S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt.; Dr. Denny Satria, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt.; and Prof. Dr. Sumaiyah, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., who successfully passed a rigorous and highly competitive selection process involving researchers from leading universities across Indonesia.

 

This achievement is part of LPDP’s effort to encourage the development of relevant and impactful research. The RKI Equity DAPT Program is designed to strengthen university research capacity through collaboration among universities, research institutions, and strategic partners. In this context, the success of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy lecturers demonstrates that the quality of research and academic competence within the faculty continues to experience significant improvement.

 

The research to be conducted during the 2025–2026 period focuses on developing innovations in the fields of pharmacy and health. Through this program, researchers are expected to generate scientific solutions that address community needs and strengthen Indonesia’s position in scientific development. The research is not only oriented toward scientific publications but is also directed toward producing tangible impacts that can be sustainably implemented in practice.

 

These research activities will be carried out through a collaborative mechanism, in which funding recipients will work together with various partner institutions in accordance with program requirements. It also reinforces the position of the USU Faculty of Pharmacy as part of a center for scientific development that is excellent and adaptive to modern research advancements.
