USU PHARMACY PR - The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara assigned the lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy to take part in the Training for Making Teaching Materials Based on Research Results and Community Service on Tuesday (4/10). This training is carried out online through the Zoom meeting media at 08.30 WIB until completion.
The training was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, professors, and lecturers of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara. The resource person in this activity was Prof. Handoyo Puji Widodo from King Abdulaziz University.
Prof. Handoyo gave an overview of how to take information from the results of research and community service to be presented and integrated into teaching materials both in the form of text and images, as well as information related to the topic of teaching materials. The results of research and community service conducted by lecturers can determine the topics that will be presented as teaching materials in accordance with the courses taught.
In addition, the speakers also taught techniques for conveying information on the results of research and community service to teaching materials. How to design the results of research and community service into teaching techniques.
The lecturers, as training participants, are expected to apply what has been directed by Prof. Handoyo Puji Widodo so that they can integrate the results of their research and service into teaching materials later.
