USU PHARMACY PR - The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, visited the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) on Thursday (8/9). The visit was welcomed by the Head of the Research Center for Medicinal Raw Materials and Traditional Medicines, Prof. Dr. Ir. Yuli Widyastuti, MP. The visit, which was represented by the Vice Dean III of USU Pharmacy, Marianne, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., Head of the USU Master and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Yuandani, S.Farm., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt., Secretary of the USU Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program, Henny Sri Wahyuni, S.Farm., M.Si., Apt., and USU Pharmacy cooperation staff, was a form of exploring collaboration between the USU Faculty of Pharmacy and BRIN in the field of research.
This visit was carried out to find out the diversity of tools available at BRIN, with the hope that later collaboration can be established, both in conducting collaborative research, implementing the MBKM program in the form of student internships, and finding out the use of tools for research. In addition, this visit aims to establish collaboration by involving BRIN staff as advisors and examiners for students of the Master's and Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as for the involvement of BRIN staff as resource persons in activities at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy.
