FACULTY OF PHARMACY USU PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), extends its congratulations and best wishes to the Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs who have been entrusted to serve as study program leaders within the Faculty of Pharmacy USU for the 2026–2031 term. This message reflects the Faculty's support and hope that the new leadership will lead the study programs toward greater progress, adaptability, and competitiveness in addressing the challenges of higher education in the field of pharmacy.
The new leadership is expected to strengthen the synergy of the entire academic community in improving the quality of the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma), covering education, research, and community service. With a spirit of collaboration, integrity, and innovation, the study program leaders are expected to continue the achievements established during the previous term while introducing new initiatives to support the development of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU at both the national and international levels.

The inauguration of the study program leaders for the 2026–2031 term marks an important milestone in strengthening professional, accountable, and quality-oriented academic governance. As the driving force behind academic management, the Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs play a strategic role in formulating academic policies, developing curricula that respond to advances in science and technology, improving the quality of teaching and learning, strengthening the research culture, and expanding cooperation with various stakeholders.
In addition, the new leadership is expected to foster an inclusive, innovative, and collaborative academic environment, enabling students to gain a quality learning experience and producing graduates who are excellent, professional, possess strong character, and are ready to contribute to the development of the healthcare sector.
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, together with the entire academic community, extends prayers and best wishes that the responsibilities entrusted to all Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs will be carried out with responsibility, integrity, and dedication. The spirit of togetherness and collaboration is expected to become the main foundation for realizing the vision of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU as an excellent, innovative, and globally competitive institution for pharmaceutical education.
This commitment is also in line with the Faculty of Pharmacy USU's efforts to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through improving the quality of academic governance and advancing sustainable higher education, the new leadership contributes to SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing innovative and high-quality learning processes. Strengthening transparent, accountable, and integrity-based governance supports the implementation of SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), while the ongoing synergy established with educational partners, government institutions, industry, professional organizations, and international institutions reflects the implementation of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) in strengthening the development of education, research, and community service.
With the new leadership for the 2026–2031 term, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, remains optimistic about continuously improving the quality of higher education, producing innovations that benefit society, and strengthening the Faculty's reputation as one of Indonesia's leading institutions for pharmaceutical education.
