FACULTY OF PHARMACY USU PUBLIC RELATIONS – The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), expressed its appreciation and gratitude to the Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs for the 2021–2026 term for their dedication, service, and contributions in advancing the Faculty of Pharmacy USU during the past five years of leadership. This appreciation was presented as a token of gratitude from the entire academic community for the commitment of the study program leaders in supporting the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education (Tridharma) and strengthening academic governance within the Faculty of Pharmacy USU.
This appreciation was presented to Prof. Yuandani, S.Farm., M.Si., Ph.D., Apt., as the Head of the Master's and Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences; Prof. Dr. Sumaiyah, S.Si., M.Si., Apt., as the Head of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program; Dr. apt. Dadang Irfan Husori, S.Si., M.Sc., as the Head of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program; Emil Salim, S.Farm., M.Sc., Apt., as the Secretary of the Master's and Doctoral Study Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences; Lila Laila, S.Farm., M.Sc., Apt., as the Secretary of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Study Program; and Dr. apt. Henny Sri Wahyuni, S.Farm., M.Si., as the Secretary of the Pharmacist Professional Education Study Program.
During the 2021–2026 leadership period, the Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs played an important role in managing academic processes, curriculum development, improving the quality of teaching and learning, conducting research, carrying out community service, supporting student development, and strengthening cooperation with various institutions at both the national and international levels. These efforts are part of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU's commitment to producing graduates who are excellent, professional, and capable of responding to the challenges of scientific development and the needs of the healthcare sector.
As members of the study program leadership, they also contributed to ensuring the continuous implementation of the quality assurance system, supporting various accreditation processes, and encouraging the creation of an innovative, collaborative, and quality-oriented academic culture. The synergy built with lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and strategic partners has become an important foundation for the development of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU to this day.
This appreciation reflects respect for the dedication and service they have demonstrated while carrying out their responsibilities as study program leaders. The leadership, innovation, and exemplary values they have left behind are expected to inspire their successors to continue improving the quality of education, research, and community service at the Faculty of Pharmacy USU.
The spirit of service demonstrated by the Heads and Secretaries of the Study Programs is also in line with the Faculty of Pharmacy USU's commitment to supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through strengthening academic governance and improving the quality of teaching and learning, their contributions support SDG 4 (Quality Education) by providing quality and inclusive higher education. At the same time, the development of a professional, accountable, and integrity-based governance system supports SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). The various collaborations established with educational institutions, government agencies, industry, and other partners also reflect the implementation of SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) as part of efforts to strengthen networks in the development of education, research, and community service.
The entire academic community of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, extends its deepest gratitude for the service and dedication given throughout the 2021–2026 period. Every contribution made will always remain part of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU's journey toward becoming an excellent, innovative, and competitive institution for pharmaceutical education at both the national and international levels.
