In relation to several doctoral program students publishing articles in the Community Practitioner journal as part of the Open Examination (Promotion) requirements, we would like to inform the following:
- Two websites of the Community Practitioner journal appear when searching through an internet browser's search engine:
a. https://www.communitypractitioner.co.uk
b. https://commprac.com - After further investigation, it has been discovered that the website accessible through https://commprac.com is a cloned version of the authentic journal website, which can be accessed at https://www.communitypractitioner.co.uk.
- Therefore, all members of the USU academic community, especially doctoral program students, are advised to exercise caution when publishing scientific articles to avoid falling victim to predatory, cloned, fake, or hijacked journals.
