The Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science at USU held an open doctoral defense for Vivi Asfianti on July 16, 2025. Her dissertation explores the cardioprotective effects of Poguntano extract on Doxorubicin-induced animal models.

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), conducted an Open Doctoral Defense for the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 08.00 WIB, located at 2nd Floor Auditorium, Building A, Faculty of Pharmacy USU.

Doctoral candidate Vivi Asfianti presented her dissertation titled:
“Evaluation of the Cardioprotective Effects of Ethanol Extract of Poguntano Herb (Picria fel-terrae Lour.) on Doxorubicin-Induced Male Wistar Rats.”

 

The defense session was chaired by Prof. Dr. Muryanto Amin, S.Sos., M.Si., with the following committee members:
