Welcome to the official website of the Pharmacist Profession Education Study Program, Universitas Sumatera Utara!

The Pharmacist Profession Education Study Program (PSPA) is a professional education program in pharmacy that was established on January 26, 2011, with the Decree of Study Program Establishment Number 26/D/O/2011. PSPA has been accredited with excellence according to the decision of LAM-PTKes No.0359/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/V/2022 with the vision of "becoming a leading pharmacist profession study program in Indonesia with international standards characterized by local excellence". The learning process and all academic activities at PSPA are supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure, expert teaching staff, and competent and swift staff. Students follow work practice activities in various places, such as health centers, pharmaceutical wholesalers, hospitals, pharmacies, and the pharmaceutical industry. PSPA graduates will obtain the pharmacist (apt.) title after graduating from this program.

The USU Faculty of Pharmacy not only shaped me into a pharmacist with knowledge, insight, and skills in the pharmaceutical world but also trained me mentally, which was needed when I became a pharmapreneur. My years of education in the Undergraduate Program in Pharmacy and the Pharmacist Profession Program at the USU Faculty of Pharmacy have been an irreplaceable time in my life. The years I spent on campus with up-to-date curriculum, caring professional lecturers, modern international standard facilities, vibrant student organizations, and above all, strong character education have shaped my personality and mindset to be open, analytical, resilient, and solutive.

My current job in digital healthcare requires all of these things: analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills — all of which I acquired at Jl. Tri Dharma No. 5, 4th Entrance of the USU Padang Bulan Campus — our beloved Faculty of Pharmacy.
