The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, welcomed LAM-PTKes Assessors for the accreditation visit of its Undergraduate Pharmacy Program on April 3-4, 2017. The visit included facility reviews, program presentations, and discussions with the academic community.
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Sumatera Utara, welcomed the Assessor Team from the Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes) for the accreditation visit of the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program. The LAM-PTKes Assessor Team consisted of Dr. R.R. Christina Avanti, M.Si., Apt. (University of Surabaya) and Dr. Muhammad Da’I, M.Si., Apt. (Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta). The visit took place over two days (April 3–4, 2017).
Held in the 2nd Floor Auditorium of the Pharmacy Building, the Assessor Team was received by the Vice Rector I, Dean, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU, lecturers, and the academic community of the Faculty of Pharmacy USU. In her remarks, Vice Rector I Prof. Dr. Ir. Rosmayati, MS, expressed her hope that the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program would maintain its A accreditation. She assured that if any shortcomings were identified during the visit, Universitas Sumatera Utara would address them promptly.
The visit began with an inspection of lecture rooms and laboratories, followed by the opening of the accreditation event and presentations by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Masfria, M.S., Apt., and the Head of the Undergraduate Program, Dr. Sumaiyah, S.Si., M.Si., Apt. The presentations covered the vision, mission, goals, objectives, achievement strategies, management systems, quality assurance systems, student outcomes, and collaborations undertaken by the Undergraduate Pharmacy Program. Subsequently, the assessors reviewed documents and physical evidence, engaged in discussions, and conducted Q&A sessions with the academic community and stakeholders.
